Installing a pivot pin can often be a source of annoyance, but the Pivot Pin Tool for AR10 is here to change that. With its intuitive four-step process, you'll be amazed at how quickly and easily you can install your pivot pin. Simply follow these steps: Step 1: Slide the Pivot Pin Tool (PPT) fixture into the pin housing on the lower receiver, ensuring proper alignment of the holes. Load the spring first, followed by inserting the detent. Step 2: Compress the spring and detent by gently using the Detent Plunger Tool (DPT). Once compressed, slowly slide the PPT fixture away from the DPT, securely locking the detent and spring in place. Remove the DPT. Step 3: Rotate the PPT fixture 90 degrees to disengage the detent from the groove within the tool, ensuring a smooth installation process. Step 4: Insert the pivot pin, making sure the notch is pointing towards the lower receiver or trigger. Push the pivot pin against the Pivot Pin Tool until it locks into place. Once securely engaged, the pivot pin can be pushed through the receiver. With these simple steps, your pivot pin installation is complete.
