Pirates' Pie Traynor Signed HOF Plaque Cut PSA Auto

Title: Pie Traynor Hall of Fame Plaque Cut Signature – PSA/DNA Certified, Authentic Auto (Cert #85716838) Description: Offered here is a scarce Hall of Fame plaque cut signed by Pie Traynor, with his signature appearing faintly in blue ink along the lower left corner of the plaque. Though partially obscured by the dark background and edge placement, the autograph remains recognizable and verified by PSA/DNA as Authentic. The plaque honors Traynor’s Hall of Fame legacy, and the reverse side features the plaque of the legendary Babe Ruth, adding significant historical and visual appeal to the piece. Encapsulated in a PSA tamper-evident slab, this dual-sided collectible holds unique value among early Hall of Fame signatures. Historical Context: Harold “Pie” Traynor (1898–1972) was a cornerstone of the Pittsburgh Pirates throughout the 1920s and 1930s, widely regarded as one of the greatest third basemen in baseball history. A career .320 hitter, Traynor was known for his steady glove and consistent bat, collecting over 2,400 hits and driving in more than 1,200 runs. He was later a successful manager for the Pirates and became a popular baseball broadcaster. Inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1948, Traynor's autograph remains difficult to obtain—especially on Hall of Fame material—making this a prized acquisition.
