Pirastro Chromcor Plus Cello String Set

Pirastro Chromcor Plus Cello Strings feature a single-filament steel core wound with chrome steel, offering a refined tonal character that is slightly darker than standard Chromcor strings. This balanced steel-core set delivers clarity with added warmth, making it an excellent choice for cellists seeking control and depth. The A and D strings produce a slightly bright, focused sound, while the G and C strings create a warm tone with a short decay, supporting clean articulation and a well-defined bass response. Chromcor Plus cello strings are known for their very easy response, allowing notes to speak quickly with minimal effort. With exceptional tuning stability and immediate playability, these strings tune up quickly after installation and hold pitch reliably. Their durable construction and consistent performance make them suitable for daily practice, ensemble playing, and performance.
