Add a delicate rose to an elegant pinwheel design and you have a beautiful Pinwheel Rose Afghan. The beauty of roses and the old time pinwheel star pattern were the inspiration for this luxurious afghan. The pattern looks harder than it really is, so don't let it fool you. The Pinwheel Rose Afghan Pattern is worked in hexagon shaped motifs which are sewn together once they are all completed. Roses and leaves are worked separate and attached to motifs as an embellishment. The finished crochet afghan is far more beautiful that you could ever expect and the perfect size to lay over a bed or drape daintily over the back of a sofa. Complete the Pinwheel Rose Afghan Crochet Pattern by crocheting each hexagon block separately and then sewing them together. If you can make this crochet block, then the entire afghan will not be difficult to complete. Pretty pink roses look elegant on the white afghan background. Change the colors of both the back ground and roses for a completely different look. You can even make the roses scrappy and have a different color on each block. There is a lot of versatility with the Pinwheel Rose Afghan Pattern to let you make an afghan that fits your personality. The finished size according to the pattern instructions is about 54 inches wide and 70 inches long. Make more hexagon blocks for a larger afghan, or fewer blocks for a smaller afghan.
