Quick Facts: ABV: 35%  |  Origin: Charente, France  |  Style: Whipped Cream Flavored Vodka  |  Owner: Beam Suntory Production & Heritage Pinnacle vodkas are distilled in the Charente region of France, an area long associated with premium spirit production. The base spirit is made from French wheat and pure spring water, then put through a meticulous five-times distillation process designed to maximize purity before the whipped cream flavoring is introduced. The result is a vodka with a velvety texture and notable smoothness that distinguishes it from many competitors in the flavored vodka category. Tasting Notes Aroma: Vibrant coconut cream pie à la mode leads the nose, followed by a delightful wave of vanilla and sweet, creamy fragrance. The aromatics are immediately inviting without smelling artificial or cloying. Taste: The entry is soft and sweet, with a supple medium-full body that coats the palate evenly. Mid-palate, rich vanilla cream flavors dominate alongside subtle coconut undertones. A lightly peppery spice emerges toward the peak, providing welcome balance against the sweetness. Finish: Long and resonant, the finish recalls coconut-vanilla gelato with a delicate peppery edge. It resolves clean and ultra-smooth, leaving no harsh bite or lingering artificial sweetness. The overall impression is sweet and smooth, reminiscent of whipped cream or vanilla gelato. How does Pinnacle Whipped compare to Smirnoff Whipped Cream Vodka? Both target the same whipped cream flavor profile, but Pinnacle Whipped is distilled five times from French wheat and bottled at 35% ABV, while Smirnoff Whipped Cream is made from American grain and bottled at 30% ABV. Pinnacle Whipped is produced in the Charente region of France, an area renowned for its spirit-making traditions. The vodka is distilled from locally sourced French wheat and pure spring water. What foods pair well with Pinnacle Whipped? Fresh strawberries and whipped cream desserts complement its vanilla notes naturally. Chocolate truffles or brownies play well against the creamy sweetness. Vanilla bean cheesecake mirrors its core flavor. Cinnamon-dusted churros benefit from the subtle peppery spice on the finish. Fruit tarts with custard filling echo the coconut-cream aromatics. What sizes does Pinnacle Whipped come in? The standard and most widely available size is the 750ml bottle, though Pinnacle vodkas are also commonly found in 1L and 1.75L formats depending on market availability. Is Pinnacle Whipped worth the price? Pinnacle Whipped positions as a value-tier flavored vodka that punches above its price point, evidenced by its 92-point score from the Beverage Tasting Institute. For a five-times distilled French wheat vodka with that level of critical recognition, it represents strong value in the flavored vodka segment. Why Pinnacle Whipped? A 92-point rating from the Beverage Tasting Institute places Pinnacle Whipped among the highest-scoring flavored vodkas in its price range. The five-times distillation of French wheat provides a noticeably cleaner, more refined base than many competitors rely on, which allows the whipped cream flavoring to read as rich rather than synthetic. The Charente region provenance adds genuine pedigree to what could otherwise be dismissed as a novelty product. For anyone serious about dessert cocktails or simply looking for a flavored vodka that doesn't sacrifice quality for fun, Pinnacle Whipped earns its shelf space.
