Salmon Roe Pink Caviar is harvested from wild-caught humpback salmon (Oncorhynchus gorbuscha) in the cold, pristine waters of the North Pacific. Considered a premium red caviar, it is valued for its delicate flavor, vibrant color, and exceptional freshness. Often referred to as “pink caviar” for its distinctive light-orange hue, it offers a refined taste experience that appeals to both traditional caviar enthusiasts and modern seafood lovers. The pearls are large to medium in size, placing them between the larger chum salmon roe and the smaller sockeye salmon roe. Each pearl has a satisfying pop, releasing a burst of fresh ocean flavor that pairs beautifully with a variety of dishes. Prepared in the traditional Malossol style, meaning “little salt,” this caviar preserves its natural taste while offering a smooth, refined texture. As a wild-harvested product, the flavor profile may vary slightly between batches depending on the salmon’s seasonal diet, with subtle differences in brininess, sweetness, and richness adding to its authentic character. Perfect for gourmet entertaining, fine dining, or enhancing special occasions, Salmon Roe Pink Caviar is ideal for serving on blinis with crème fraîche, topping sushi, or enjoying directly from the tin with a mother-of-pearl spoon.
