Pink Roll Top 'Action' Desk

Very rare and highly collectible original vintage George Nelson for Herman Miller roll top "Action Desk" refinished in a salmon pink. Early productions of this piece are far more valuable than the new production versions. Work atop the sliding wood panels, or roll them away to reveal another work desk or storage space. This desk tells a story and every sign of wear reminds the owner of the lives it has lived before landing in their home.  This desk looks incredible from all angles - with or without the wood slat on top, and facing any direction. It is a piece of art with both a post-modern and brutalist vibe. Fully functioning and wood slats slide easily. Monumental piece that is sturdy and impeccably built. Perfect for both a corporate or home office.  Free standing on a metal base. Wall mount racks also included for a 'floating' desk. Herman Miller tag underneath. Located at our Los Angeles Showroom .
