Pink Knock Out Rose

Pink Knock Out Rose (Rosa 'Radcon')Pink Knock Out Rose is a dependable landscape shrub that keeps color coming for months with bright, clear pink blooms. It flowers in flushes from spring through frost, so beds and foundation plantings stay lively long after the first wave of the season. The shrub grows into a rounded, full shape that looks intentional without constant pruning. If you want a rose that delivers steady bloom and an easy care routine, this one is built for everyday performance. Distinctive FeaturesThis shrub rose produces abundant clusters of cherry-pink, single blooms that show a clean, open form and a bright, cheerful look from a distance. Flowering is consistent from spring through fall, often with only short pauses between flushes when conditions are hot. Foliage is a deep mossy green and the plant maintains a dense, rounded habit that fills space evenly in the landscape. Mature size is typically about 3 to 4 feet tall and 3 to 4 feet wide. Growing Conditions Sun: Full sun is best for heavy flowering and the cleanest growth, and it tolerates part sun with fewer blooms. Soil: Plant in fertile, well-drained soil and amend with organic matter to support roots and steady bloom. Water: Water deeply during establishment, then water when the top few inches of soil are dry while avoiding soggy conditions. USDA Zones: Zones 5 to 11. Spacing: Space about 3 to 4 feet apart to encourage airflow and allow the shrub to fill out evenly. Ideal Uses Focal Point: Use as a focal point in a sunny bed where bright pink bloom can carry the color story from spring through fall. Mass Planting: Plant in groups for a bold sweep of pink that reads well from the street. Foundation Beds: Adds long-season color and a tidy, rounded form along the house without constant shaping. Mixed Borders: Pairs easily with perennials and shrubs, adding repeat bloom and dependable structure. Low Hedges: Use in a row to create a flowering edge that stays full and colorful for months. Low Maintenance Care Pruning: Prune in late winter to early spring to shape the shrub and encourage vigorous new flowering growth. Deadheading: Deadheading is optional, but removing spent clusters can improve tidiness and encourage quicker repeat bloom. Watering: Water at the base to keep foliage drier and reduce disease pressure. Feeding: Fertilize in spring and again after the first heavy bloom flush to support continued flowering. Mulching: Mulch to conserve moisture, suppress weeds, and moderate soil temperature around the roots. Why Choose Pink Knock Out Rose? Bright Pink Blooms: Clear cherry-pink flowers deliver strong color that reads well in the landscape. Season-Long Flowering: Repeat bloom from spring through frost keeps beds looking active for months. Rounded Shrub Habit: A naturally full 3 to 4 foot form looks finished without constant shaping.
