Pink Duches Dahlia

Pink Duchess dahlias produce stunning 5-inch coral pink blooms with a graceful waterlily form that reaches 3 feet in height. As these flowers mature, their petals develop a subtle fade at the edges, adding depth and character to arrangements. This variety combines reliable performance with sophisticated color evolution, making it an excellent choice for gardeners seeking both visual impact and natural elegance throughout the blooming season. How To Plant Dahlias To get your dahlias started, pick a sunny spot with soil that drains well. Dig a hole, lay the tuber flat, and cover it with soil about 3 inches deep. Hold off on watering for now. Once you spot some sprouts and a few leaves, it’s time to water, but keep it gentle to prevent root rot. It’s a smart  to put the stake next to the tuber at the same time of planting, so you don’t accidentally damage it later on. As the season goes on, give your dahlias some love with fertilizer and insect sprays to help them bloom beautifully and grow strong. In the fall, dig up the roots and store them over winter.
