PING i540 Custom Fit Irons

PING i540 Irons Players Distance Performance With Explosive Ball Speed and Precision Control. The PING i540 Irons are engineered for golfers who want the look and control of a players iron with the added distance and forgiveness of modern multi-material technology. Featuring a compact profile and clean shaping, the i540 delivers powerful ball speed and consistent performance while maintaining the confidence and precision better players demand. A thin, high-strength face works with a hollow-body construction to create faster ball speeds and increased launch across the face. This design allows the club to flex more efficiently at impact, producing impressive distance while maintaining reliable dispersion and consistent carry numbers. Strategically placed tungsten weighting in the long and mid irons lowers the center of gravity to promote higher launch and improved stability. The progressive design shifts the center of gravity throughout the set, helping long irons launch easier while the short irons deliver the trajectory control and stopping power needed for scoring shots. Inside the clubhead, a precision-engineered internal structure enhances sound and feel without limiting face flex. The result is a solid, responsive impact sensation that combines the distance benefits of a hollow iron with the feedback players expect from a performance iron. A thinner topline, narrow sole, and reduced offset give the i540 a refined look at address while maintaining forgiveness through perimeter weighting and modern construction. The result is an iron that blends speed, control, and playability in a design built for confident ball striking. Key Features High-Speed Flexible Face Thin face construction increases ball speed and distance while maintaining consistent performance across the face. Hollow-Body Design Allows greater face flex at impact for powerful launch and improved distance. Tungsten Weighting Lowers the center of gravity in the long and mid irons for higher launch and increased stability. Progressive CG Design Optimizes launch, spin, and trajectory control throughout the set. Refined Players Shape Thin topline, compact profile, and reduced offset provide a clean look at address. Enhanced Sound and Feel Internal support structure improves acoustics while preserving fast face performance. Who It’s For Golfers who want a players-distance iron with explosive ball speed, consistent launch, and a clean players profile.
