PING G740 Custom Fit Irons

PING G740 Irons Maximum Forgiveness With Higher Launch and Effortless Distance. The PING G740 Irons are designed for golfers who want the easiest-to-launch, most forgiving iron in the lineup without sacrificing distance or consistency. With a larger profile and strategically positioned weighting, these irons help produce higher launch, faster ball speeds, and reliable carry distance across the entire face. Weight positioned low and deep in the head helps lower the center of gravity, making it easier to get the ball airborne while improving stability through impact. A flexible face design works with the cavity construction to maintain strong ball speeds even on off-center strikes, helping you keep distance and direction when your contact isn’t perfect. A confidence-inspiring shape with a slightly longer blade length and thicker topline makes the G740 easy to set up behind the ball, while the wider sole helps the club glide smoothly through the turf for cleaner contact. The result is an iron set that produces high, straight shots with dependable distance and forgiveness from the long irons through the scoring clubs.
