Pilot Decimo Champagne - Fountain Pen

Much like the popular Pilot Vanishing Point series, the Pilot Decimo series combines the elegance of a fountain pen with the ease of a ballpoint, and all at a very attractive price. The Decimo is slightly lighter and slimmer than the Vanishing Point, making it a perfect choice for those who want a more streamlined writing instrument. The Pilot Decimo Champagne fountain pen is made available with your choice of 18k solid gold rhodium-plated nib unit. Includes starter ink cartridge, converter, and presentation box. Combining the quality of a fountain pen with the practicality of a retractable ballpoint, the Pilot Decimo Champagne fountain pen is a convenient, capless alternative to the traditional fountain pen. The Decimo closely resembles the popular Vanishing Point series, yet is lighter and slimmer with a more streamlined, minimalistic look and feel. This is an excellent mid-size fountain pen that fits easily in the hand. A ballpoint-like mechanism allows the pen to be ready to write with just one easy click, making it an ideal choice for doctors, lawyers, technicians, or anyone on the go. When the nib is retracted, a shutter mechanism protects the nib and prevents it from drying out. Semi-shimmery beige lacquer is layered over metal for an elegance befitting a writing instrument named after a high-end celebratory beverage. Rhodium-plated trim accentuates the look. The Decimo clip is thinner and more streamlined than that of the Vanishing Point. The Decimo utilizes Vanishing Point nib units. Additional nib units with converters are available for purchase and are easily interchangeable, adding to the versatility of the Decimo line. The Pilot Decimo Champagne fountain pen is a cartridge-converter pen - it can be filled with any bottled fountain pen ink using the provided converter, and can also use Pilot-Namiki ink cartridges. Unless requested otherwise, each pen or nib you purchase from us will be carefully examined, tested, and optimized for your personal writing characteristics before it ships. See our nib set-up and optimization page for more details.
