Home Safe Pig and Hen Tradition Soft Tee

Sailors have trusted the pig and hen for generations, symbols of survival when the seas turned rough. Ours? We went with a rooster. Same spirit. Just a little louder. Built on old-school sailor superstition and Coast Guard grit, this Pig & Rooster design is all about making it home. Back in the day, sailors tattooed pigs and hens, or roosters, on their feet—because those animals were shipped in wooden crates and often survived shipwrecks. The meaning stuck: a little luck, a lot of faith, and the promise you’ll find your way back. We took that tradition and gave it the Puddle Pirate treatment. Clean design, comfortable fit, and a nod to the crews who stand the watch and trust their training when it matters most. Soft, durable, and ready for whatever your day throws at you—on duty or off. Wear it as a reminder: No matter how rough the seas get, you’re coming home. Note on Fit & Feel: We use the Bella + Canvas 3001 for its soft feel, lightweight comfort, and clean look. It has a slightly slimmer cut than a standard tee—closer to a retail fit than a boxy one. If you’re between sizes or prefer a roomier feel, we recommend sizing up. • 100% combed and ring-spun cotton (Heather colors contain polyester) • Fabric weight: 4.2 oz./yd.² (142 g/m²) • Pre-shrunk fabric • Side-seamed construction • Shoulder-to-shoulder taping • Blank product sourced from Nicaragua, Mexico, Honduras, or the US Disclaimer: The fabric is slightly sheer and may appear see-through, especially in lighter colors or under certain lighting conditions.
