Pictured Rocks Postcard Tile

Commemorating favorite Detroit destinations, each “Postcards from Detroit” tile is hand-pressed, hand- painted, and signed by a Pewabic artist. A new tile is added to the series each year for your collection of Detroit and Michigan landmarks. This installation of our Postcards giftware series features the deep blue water of Lake Superior and the Grand Portal- the most distinctive formation on Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. Found in Michigan’s upper peninsula, Pictured Rocks is named for the streaks of mineral stain that create a unique patina on the weathered-sculpted cliffs. Our beautiful tile brings this natural wonder - and the memories held there - into your home to enjoy every day. 5” x 7” Handcrafted in Detroit Commemorating favorite Detroit destinations, each Postcard Series tile is hand-pressed, hand-painted, and signed by a Pewabic artist Pewabic logo stamped on back Slight variations in glaze and firing results ensure each handcrafted Pewabic piece is one of a kind
