Picotee Orange Ranunculus Corms | Persian Buttercup | Blue Buddha Farm

Spring-blooming Persian Buttercups arrive as dormant 7+/cm corms, engineered for reliable cultivation in fast-draining beds and cut-flower propagation. Each order contains ten premium Picotee Orange Ranunculus specimens that consistently produce heavily layered, rose-shaped blossoms displaying a distinct orange base with a contrasting picotee edge. These upright, clumping stems deliver exceptional cut-flower performance and extended vase life. Botanical Specifications Series: Picotee / Persian Buttercup Bloom Season: Spring Light Requirements: Full Sun to Partial Shade Corm Size: 7+/cm diameter classification Growth Habit: Upright, clumping foliage supporting tall stems Ranunculus thrive during cool growing windows and demand fertile, coarse-textured soil that drains rapidly to prevent root stagnation. Position each dormant corm 1 to 2 inches below the surface, orienting the hardened, claw-like apex straight downward. Space multiple units several inches apart to maintain airflow and minimize humidity-related stress. Gardeners in mild winter territories can execute direct ground planting in autumn to trigger synchronized spring emergence. Regions expecting hard freezes should delay installation until late winter or early spring, or initiate development under greenhouse covers until ambient temperatures stabilize. This early fall release secures your purchase within Blue Buddha Farm’s restricted seasonal inventory. Every order passes through rigorous visual grading before being sealed in breath-controlled packaging to preserve corm viability during transit.
