Picnic by Color Girl Quilts

The classic orange peel quilt block is all new and so easy with the Picnic pattern using the Classic Curves Ruler. The Picnic quilt brings this versatile shape to modern patchwork: show off your favorite prints or batiks and perfect your curved piecing skills. Pattern includes full instructions to cut, sew and finish the quilt, with options for the small circle appliqué (hint: do it by machine or by hand, it’s much easier than it looks!). Visit the tutorials page for step-by-step instructions on binding and more tips on curved piecing. The Classic Curves Ruler is required for cutting the fabrics for Picnic. Ruler sold separately. The CCR reduces the cutting time (no templates!) so you can get sewing faster, and your curves fit perfectly. Make sure to purchase the Classic Curves Ruler along with the Picnic pattern. Pattern includes fully illustrated instructions to make three quilt sizes: Baby/throw (47″ x 61″), Twin, and Queen.
