Experience stunning sound quality, reduced jitter, and improved dynamics with this high-performance USB reclocker. Elevate your listening experience and rediscover your music with the Innuos Phoenix USB. For Zen Mini, Zen and Zenith Owners We heard the live demonstration at the 2019 Rocky Mountain Audiofest. The comparison was the Zenith, with and without the Reclocker, and finally the Zenith vs. the Statement streaming from the Zenith's internal library. The improvement the PhoenixUSB was immediately evident with more air, texture and space in the Zenith vs. Zenith PhoenixUSB comparison. For the Zenith with PhoenixUSB vs. Statement, there was little if any discernable difference between the two. Nuno did say that the Statement would outperform the Zenith/Phoenix combo when it came to listening to streaming services rather than from the internal library, as the Statement does do additional reclocking to the streaming signal. For Zen mini users, the Phoenix USB is the same size chassis, meaning you can stack the Zen Mini, PhoenixUSB and linear power supply. What a great upgrade path. Take the performance of your Zen Mini to incredible heights with these upgrades. For Zen Users, again, huge performance increases without having to upgrade your entire streamer. This may be the value combination sweet spot for Innuos products. For Zenith users, take the performance of your streaming to near Statement levels with this upgrade. As I mentioned above, when streaming from the Zeniths internal music library, you will essentially have Statement sound. For streaming with Tidal and Qobuz services you will have slightly less than Statement performance, as the Statement has an extra clocking stage for streaming sources. Reclock and Regenerate the USB signal from any source The PhoenixUSB connects via USB cable and will reclock and regenerate the USB audio signal from nearly any source. Even if you own a laptop, the Phoenix USB will greatly improve the sound quality of your streaming audio. The Phoenix USB Reclocker takes the USB signal from ANY source (It's not limited to Innuos products) and completely regenerates it to an extremely high precision signal to feed into your DAC. 3 Components in 1 The PhoenixUSB offers in one unit the equivalent of 3 separate components: A USB regenerator Linear power supply External master clock with it's own linear power supply. Highly Regulated Linear Power Supplies The USB chip regenerating the signal contains no switching regulators. All 3 independent voltages to the chip originate from an independent linear power supply with further regulation provided by 3 sets of LT305 regulators. The use of a 3 ppb OCXO clock running directly at 24 mHz and connected via a board track just a couple inches away from the USB chip itself ensures the shortest possible connected path. No precision is lost within cables and connectors, as is the case when using an external master 10mHz clock with an additional 24 mHz clock generator. Two independent Statement-level linear power supplies, one dedicated to the OCXO clsock and the other used for powering the USB chip 5V USB line.
