Phoenix Heritage Trench Coat

Welcome prosperity into your life with the Phoenix Heritage Trench Coat. It’s inspired by the Chinese legend of the ‘Phoenix Wearing Peony’ with the king of birds and the king of flowers coupling together. This allusion also shows the two sides of femininity with its strength and delicacy. The ‘Fenghuang’ coat is named after the mythological birds, often compared to a phoenix, who reigned over all birds and whose presence presented an omen of harmony for a new emperor taking the throne. Peonies symbolise good luck, romance, and happiness, often gifted at times of joy. The image of the phoenix and peony together symbolise the concept of re-invention, reminding us that we can bring harmony, peace, and change into our own lives. This cotton coat offers breathability and warmth, making it one of our most versatile. The matching belt allows you to choose from a more relaxed or structured silhouette, reimagining the classic British trench coat. The phoenix coat is an elegant staple that will transition your closet through every season. This east-meets-west design is brought to life by our talented team of artisans in Shanghai, who hand embroider each phoenix and peony flower.
