Philodendron, Florida Ghost

Scientific Name: Philodendron squamiferum x pedatum 'Florida Ghost' Common Name: Florida Ghost Philodendrons are a very popular and easy-care houseplant with a ton of variety across the different species within the family. They all come from tropical or subtropical climates and love humidity (and are great plants to have in your bathroom as a result). Each Philodendron has its own growth pattern and leaf style, which makes these all the more fun to collect. Some are natural trailers or climbers, and others grow straight up or even creep.  Striking and unique, the Philodendron Ghost is a rare hybrid that is known for its deeply lobes leaves that emerge pure white before maturing into many different shades of green. Basic Care Notes: Bright, indirect light to maintain variegation- avoid direct sunlight as their leaves can burn from sun exposure! Philodendrons tolerate a range of watering schedules but prefers to be watered when the top 2 inches of soil is dry. They also love humidity, so misting them regularly is great. Pro tip: provide a moss pole or stake for support, as these beauties tend to grow to the beat of their own drum (and will start growing sideways if given the opportunity!).  ***Due to the unique nature of plants, the one we carefully choose for you won't look exactly like the photos. but it will be just as beautiful!
