Philodendron Brasil (Philodendron hederaceum ‘Brasil’)

A Striking Twist on the Classic Heartleaf Philodendron Philodendron ‘Brasil’ elevates the familiar heartleaf philodendron with dramatic variegation in lime, gold, and deep emerald. Each leaf is uniquely painted with bold brushstroke patterns, giving the plant a playful, artistic energy. As vines trail or climb, the layered foliage creates a lush, flowing silhouette that instantly warms and energizes indoor spaces. Whether styled in a hanging basket, draped across a shelf, or trained along a wall grid, Brasil adds movement and personality to your décor. Perfect for Modern Homes and Indoor Jungle Aesthetics Its vivid coloration stands out beautifully against neutral interiors, wood tones, and contemporary palettes. At the same time, its soft cascading vines add organic softness to structured spaces. This plant is a favorite for living rooms, bedrooms, home offices, and cozy reading corners — anywhere a touch of natural vibrance will brighten the mood. Adapts to a Wide Range of Light Conditions Philodendron Brasil thrives in medium to bright indirect light, but it also tolerates lower light conditions — rare for a variegated plant. In brighter light, colors become more distinct and leaves grow larger; in lower light, variegation remains attractive, simply softer in contrast. This flexibility makes Brasil ideal for apartments, offices, and shelf displays where light isn’t perfect. A forgiving, low-maintenance favorite Brasil is a true beginner-proof houseplant — resilient, adaptable, and highly responsive to care cues. It tolerates missed waterings, recovers quickly from relocation stress, and continues to grow steadily throughout the year. Propagation is easy and rewarding — clip a stem and root in water or soil to create new plants to share with Friends.
