Philodendron, Aureum

Scientific (and common) Name: Philodendron hederaceum Common Names: Philodendron Aureum, Neon Philodendron Philodendrons are a very popular and easy-care houseplant with a ton of variety across the different species within the family. They all come from tropical or subtropical climates and love humidity (and are great plants to have in your bathroom as a result).  Each Philodendron has its own growth pattern and leaf style, which makes these all the more fun to collect. Some are natural trailers or climbers, and others grow straight up or even creep.  The Philodendron Aureum is a climbing/vining variety with bright lime green heart-shaped leaves. Basic Care Notes: Low to indirect bright light, avoid direct sunlight as their leaves can burn from sun exposure. Philodendrons tolerate a range of watering schedules but most prefer to be watered when the top 2 inches of soil is dry. They also love humidity, so misting them regularly is great.  ***Due to the unique nature of plants, the one we carefully choose for you won't look exactly like the photos. but it will be just as beautiful!
