Phil Lesh - August 2000 Relix Issue

The August 2000 Relix issue includes our Phil Lesh cover story and more! Phil Lesh returns to the New York concert stage for the first time since the passing of Jerry Garcia in 1995. With his new version of Phil and Friends—guitarist Jeff Pevar from David Crosby's CPR, guitarist Jimmy Herring from Jazz is Dead and Aquarium Rescue Unit, Keyboardist Rob Barraco from the Zen Tricksters, and rhythm monster John Molo—Lesh has never sounded so at home with the music. This article reviews Phil and Friends' April 2000 concert at the Beacon Theater in New York City.  This issue includes additional features and articles on The String Cheese Incident, Graham Nash, The Allman Brothers Band, Gordon Stone, and more!
