Phat Shrimp Fertiliser

Comprehensive Plant Nutrition for Shrimp Aquariums Maintaining healthy plant growth in shrimp aquariums presents a unique challenge. While aquatic plants require a consistent supply of nutrients, shrimp keepers often prefer a more measured approach to fertilisation to avoid excessive nutrient accumulation and unnecessary system instability. By supplying nutrients at levels appropriate for lower-energy planted systems, PHAT Shrimp helps maintain steady growth, healthy foliage and improved colouration without the aggressive nutrient loading often associated with fertilisers designed for high-demand aquascapes. Designed Around Stability Successful shrimp keeping relies on consistency. Sudden fluctuations in water chemistry can create unnecessary stress for shrimp populations and reduce breeding success. PHAT Shrimp is formulated to provide plants with the nutrients they require while supporting the stable conditions that shrimp aquariums depend upon. The result is a fertilisation strategy that encourages plant growth without pushing the aquarium beyond the requirements of its livestock. Supporting Healthy Plant Growth Aquatic plants continue to consume nutrients even in lower-light aquariums. Over time, deficiencies may develop as nutrients become depleted through growth, pruning and routine maintenance. Regular supplementation helps maintain healthy leaf development, stronger root systems and more consistent growth while reducing the likelihood of nutrient-related deficiencies. Healthy plant growth also contributes to a more stable aquarium environment by assisting with nutrient utilisation and providing valuable grazing surfaces for shrimp. Suitable for Shrimp-Focused Aquariums PHAT Shrimp is ideal for planted aquariums housing Neocaridina, Caridina and other freshwater shrimp species where moderate plant growth, long-term stability and livestock welfare are prioritised over maximum growth rates. Whether maintaining a breeding colony, display shrimp aquarium or planted nano tank, PHAT Shrimp provides a balanced approach to aquatic plant nutrition without the need for complex dosing schedules.
