The other half of the pair. pH Down brings an alkaline solution back into the 5.8–6.3 band where the full set of essential nutrients stays available at the root. Emerald Harvest base nutrients and supplements are pH buffered, so a garden running the full line usually needs little adjustment. Water supplies, media like rockwool and coco coir, and supplements from other brands are what typically push the number out of range. How to run it Nutrients and supplements into water first, mixed until fully dissolved, rested a few minutes, meter calibrated — then measure and adjust. A little at a time, testing as you go. Never mix pH Down with pH Up. Test before feeding and before and after watering; daily on automated systems. Replaces any acidifier product. Poison — corrosive May be injurious to eyes and mucous membranes. Contains phosphoric acid. Keep out of reach of children. Do not breathe dusts or mists; wash hands and affected areas thoroughly after handling. Wear protective gloves, clothing and eye protection, and use only in a well-ventilated area. Can burn skin — wash off immediately with vinegar on contact. If swallowed, give one or two glasses of water and call a poison control centre, emergency room or physician; do not induce vomiting.
