Leisure Time pH Balance Plus | pH Stabilizer

Leisure Time pH Balance Plus is a granular pH buffer and stabilizer formulated for spas and hot tubs — and it does something fundamentally different from a pH increaser or decreaser. Rather than pushing pH up or down, pH Balance Plus locks pH in place, all but eliminating the frustrating "pH bounce" that has owners chasing the same reading up and down week after week. It's formulated specifically to resist pH changes even when the spa is refilled with hard water, the conditions under which pH is hardest to hold steady. Every spa owner who's battled pH knows the cycle: add pH Up, it climbs too high, add pH Down, it crashes too low, repeat endlessly. That instability isn't a dosing problem — it's a buffering problem. Water with poor buffering capacity has nothing to hold pH steady, so it swings wildly in response to every sanitizer dose, every soak, and every bit of aeration from the jets. Hard water and high-use spas are especially prone to it. No amount of pH Up or pH Down fixes the underlying instability; those products just move the reading temporarily before it drifts again. pH Balance Plus solves the root cause. Added once at fresh fill, it establishes a strong buffer that holds pH stable in the proper range from refill to refill — typically the full 3–4 month fill cycle. A single 3 lb bottle treats up to 500 gallons and lasts the entire cycle, replacing the constant weekly tug-of-war with a one-time startup step. For anyone tired of chasing pH, this is the product that ends the chase. Pro Tip: Understand what pH Balance Plus is and isn't. It's a buffer that holds pH steady — not a corrector that moves a badly out-of-range reading. Before adding it, get your pH into the acceptable 7.0–8.0 window first using Spa Up or Spa Down if needed. Then add pH Balance Plus to lock that good reading in place for the rest of the fill cycle. Think of Spa Up and Spa Down as the steering wheel that gets you into your lane, and pH Balance Plus as the lane-keep assist that keeps you there. Brand Leisure Time®
