The PFAFF creative icon™ 2 includes the creative™ Grand Dream Hoop, which measures an expansive 360 x 350mm (13.8" x 14.2") — the largest machine embroidery hoop on the market. This hoop enables massive embroidery layouts with fewer re-hooping steps, making it ideal for oversized designs, full-coverage quilting motifs, and large-scale personalization projects. Three additional hoops are also included: the creative™ Supreme Hoop (360x260mm), the creative™ Elite Hoop (260x200mm), and the creative™ Square Hoop (120x120mm). How does the ActivStitch™ system work on the PFAFF creative icon™ 2? The patented ActivStitch™ system on the PFAFF creative icon™ 2 uses advanced internal sensors to continuously measure the thickness and density of the fabric as you sew or embroider. Based on these real-time readings, the system automatically regulates thread delivery and tension to maintain consistent, even stitch quality across the front and back of your project — even when working with specialty threads, varying fabric densities, or complex multi-layer assemblies. Unlike manual tension adjustment, ActivStitch™ adapts on the fly so you can focus on creating rather than troubleshooting. What AI features does the PFAFF creative icon™ 2 have? The PFAFF creative icon™ 2 features built-in artificial intelligence that actively monitors your machine configuration while you work. Its primary AI function is presser foot compatibility detection — the machine recognizes which foot is currently attached and immediately alerts you if it is not compatible with your selected stitch, preventing fabric damage and costly mistakes. This AI system works alongside voice speech recognition, which allows you to control machine functions and request guidance completely hands-free, keeping both hands on your material at all times. What does the integrated fabric light projector do on the PFAFF creative icon™ 2? The integrated fabric light projector on the PFAFF creative icon™ 2 projects visual guidance directly onto your fabric or hooped material before a single stitch is made. It can display alignment grids, sewing guidelines, and full embroidery design previews at actual scale within your hoop, allowing you to verify exact placement and positioning with complete confidence. This eliminates the guesswork of marking fabric by hand and is especially valuable when aligning designs on pockets, cuffs, or any area where precision placement is critical.
