The Pfaff Creative Elevate™ 680 Sewing & Embroidery Machine gives sewists a polished, versatile workspace for everyday sewing, quilting, and advanced embroidery. Built for makers of every level, it combines dependable stitch performance with smart on-screen guidance that keeps projects moving smoothly. With the optional embroidery unit, you can expand into decorative stitching, monograms, and detailed hoop work with more than 330 built-in embroidery designs and 8 embroidery fonts. Its CREATIVATE™ compatibility also connects you with maker tools, education, and inspiration right at your fingertips. Pfaff’s Original IDT™ System, trusted since 1968, feeds fabric evenly from both the top and bottom for beautifully controlled stitching without extra accessories. This is especially helpful when working with slippery layers, quilt sandwiches, garment seams, or mixed fabric weights that can shift under a standard presser foot. The Creative Elevate™ 680 also includes over 400 built-in stitches, giving you plenty of options for utility sewing, heirloom details, quilting accents, and decorative finishing. Exclusive PFAFF® stitch techniques like Floating Stitches, Radiant Stitches, Ribbon Stitches, Lace-Edge Stitches, and Stacking Stitches help bring a more custom, high-end look to your projects. A large 7" color capacitive touch screen, measuring 153 x 85 mm, makes it easy to view settings, edit designs, and navigate with familiar swipe, pinch, and spread gestures. The Built-In Learning Center offers interactive guidance for setup, specialty techniques, zippers, hems, quilting, and more, so you can learn directly at the machine. Built-In Quick Help gives quick explanations of on-screen tools and icons, saving time when you want answers without digging through the manual. You can even personalize the screen by naming your machine or changing the color theme to better match your creative space. For embroidery, the Pfaff Creative Elevate™ 680 offers thoughtful tools for precise placement, cleaner stitching, and easier customization. The large embroidery area supports designs up to 360 x 200 mm without re-hooping, while Exact Position helps align multiple hoopings with greater confidence. Rotate, scale, move, mirror, move into hoop, corner check, change stitch-out order, create shapes, and step through embroidery by color or stitch-by-stitch for better control over every design. Automatic Thread Cutter with Automatic Jump Stitch Trim, basting options, bobbin winding through the needle, and bobbin winding while sewing all work together to reduce interruptions and keep your creative momentum flowing. Original IDT™ The 680 features the renowned Original IDT™ System (Integrated Dual Feed), a hallmark of Pfaff machines. This advanced system ensures even fabric feeding from both the top and bottom, delivering impeccable stitch quality on all fabric types. Whether working with delicate silks, slippery synthetics, or thick layers like denim and quilting fabrics, the IDT™ System maintains consistent fabric movement, preventing shifting and puckering. Integrated directly into the machine, it can be engaged or disengaged as needed, making it a versatile and essential tool for every sewing enthusiast. 400+ Stitches | 9 Buttonholes | 4 Fonts With 400 built-in stitches, 4 sewing fonts, and 9 one-step buttonholes, the PFAFF® creative elevate™ 680 gives sewists a versatile stitch library for everyday construction, quilting, embellishment, and personalization. Whether you’re adding polished buttonholes to garments, decorative accents to home décor, or lettering to custom gifts, the built-in options make it easy to choose the right finish for your project. Designed for smooth, confident sewing, the creative elevate™ 680 stitches at up to 800 stitches per minute, offering a balanced blend of creative flexibility and reliable control. Exclusive Pfaff Stitch Techniques Elevate your sewing projects with a collection of unique and advanced stitch techniques designed to bring your creative visions to life. The 680 introduces Floating Stitches, a revolutionary way to add dimension and texture to your designs without thread connections between stitch points. Radiant Stitches create stunning, multi-directional patterns that radiate outward, perfect for eye-catching embellishments. Single, Double, and Triple Ribbon Stitches offer versatility and style, providing elegant, ribbon-like effects to enhance your garments and décor. Lace Edge Stitches add delicate, decorative borders that mimic intricate lacework, while Stacking Stitches allow you to layer complementary patterns for a dynamic, multi-dimensional look. Please note that some of these stitches may require additional presser feet. 330+ Embroidery Designs | 8 Fonts Explore more creative possibilities with 300+ built-in embroidery designs and 8 embroidery fonts on the PFAFF® creative elevate™ 680. Large Sewing Space The PFAFF® creative elevate™ 680 offers a spacious sewing area with nearly 10 inches (250mm) to the right of the needle, giving you extra room for quilts, garments, and home décor projects. This generous workspace helps bulky fabrics move more smoothly and makes larger sewing tasks feel easier to manage from start to finish. It’s especially helpful when piecing quilt tops, sewing wide hems, or guiding heavier projects with better control. Large Embroidery Area The PFAFF® creative elevate™ 680 gives you room to stitch larger embroidery designs with a maximum hoop size of 360mm x 200mm. This generous embroidery area is ideal for bold motifs, quilt blocks, home décor accents, and detailed designs that need more space to shine. With built-in editing tools, you can scale, rotate, and position your designs with ease, helping you create polished results with fewer interruptions for rehooping. Built-in Help Center The built-in Learning Center on the Creative Elevate 680 is like having a personal sewing coach inside your machine, ready to assist at any moment. With step-by-step tutorials presented through clear text, detailed illustrations, and animations, you can quickly master both the basics and more advanced features. From threading the machine and winding a bobbin to exploring specialty stitches and using accessories, the Learning Center makes it easy to expand your skills and gain confidence. It’s a powerful tool to help you get the most out of your 680, whether you’re perfecting fundamentals or diving into new techniques. See an overview here. Exact Positioning The Exact Position feature helps you fine-tune embroidery placement with greater accuracy, making it easier to stitch designs exactly where you want them. It’s especially helpful for aligning multiple hoopings, matching design sections, and creating larger embroideries with a smooth, professional finish. Sensors The Top and Bobbin Thread Sensors on the PFAFF® creative elevate™ 680 help keep your stitching smooth by alerting you when the needle thread breaks or the bobbin thread is running low. Instead of discovering skipped sections or unfinished stitches after the fact, the machine lets you know when attention is needed so you can pause, rethread, or replace the bobbin before continuing. This is especially helpful during embroidery, decorative stitching, and longer sewing sessions where consistent thread flow is essential for clean results. Built-in Needle Threader Say goodbye to eye strain and frustration with the automatic needle threader on the QE680. With a simple push of the lever, your needle is threaded in seconds, saving time and keeping your creativity flowing—especially when changing thread colors often. Designed for use with home sewing machine needles size 70–120, this feature makes setup quick and effortless. For best results, avoid transparent nylon monofilament, specialty threads, and wing or twin needles. Whether you’re starting a new project or swapping threads mid-design, the automatic needle threader gets you stitching as fast as inspiration strikes. 7" Full-Color Touch Screen The large 7" color capacitive touch screen on the PFAFF® creative elevate™ 680 puts essential sewing and embroidery information right at your fingertips. Measuring 153 x 85 mm, the bright, tablet-like display makes it easy to view settings, preview designs, and make on-screen edits with confidence.
