It is powerfully grounding and stabilizing, reminding us that in time, all things are possible and to take joy in our journey. Petrified Wood helps us to 'put down roots' when living in a new place, starting a new job or have any change of environment. It helps us adapt quickly while becoming more perceptive of any changes that are occurring within ourselves. One of the most important features of Petrified Wood is its embodiment of ancient energies or knowledge. It is a literal piece of the ancient earth, frozen in time. It contains the primordial essence of our planet, embodying the flexible strength, endless perseverance, and endurance of life itself. Petrified Wood is exceptionally helpful when attempting to heal or understand one's Inner Child. The rings of a tree mark each year of a tree's life. Just as a tree contains its own inner child, humans too carry our childhood experience for better or worse.
