Petrichor - Face Cleanser

Petrichor is the smell of the earth when it rains. What could feel more renewing than the first few raindrops on the dry earth? Cleansing should be a gentle process. Our skin naturally produces oil to protect itself from the elements. Stripping those away completely will cause the skin to overproduce. Using harsh soaps and drying chemicals on your skin can be damaging to the lifecyle of the cells. Instead, we choose to cleanse in a gentle way that binds the environmental toxins and accumulation from the outer layer of your skin without disturbing the pH levels. Organic witch hazel for purification, white clay to help bond to the toxins and the addition of aloe vera and herbal distillations preserve the hydration levels during the detoxification. A small addition of glycerine and organic hemp oil are included to lightly moisturize as you gently scrub away the unwanted layers. This little nature formula comes in a travel-sized 2 oz bottle as well as a home-sized 4 oz bottle.
