Petit Filet Mignon | G1 Certified

This is the smaller brother to your restaurant grade filet mignon... the perfect weekday lunch/dinner and excellent for portion control. It is 4oz-5oz, ideal to go with a salad, potatoes or rice. Its super easy to cook, you could even cook it in the airfryer. This is the most lean, tender part of the animal, there also isn’t that much of it per steer which is why its so expensive and coveted. The average steer or heifer provides no more than 500 grams of filet mignon.  Wrap them in our awesome smoked BACON or cooked in buttery beef bacon fat and enjoy them even more.  Best for: Grilling, Braised, Pan-Seared  Best Cooked: Medium-Rare, Medium We suggest to cook it quickly over high heat, so that the exterior becomes nicely browned while leaving the interior juicy and medium rare.         Source: US MidWest This product has been aged for 30+ Days to improve tenderness and flavor   This item MIGHT be delivered frozen.
