The Pet Show must go on, despite the fact that Archie's wayward cat is missing in action! While Archie frantically searches the neighborhood, the noncompetitive pet show proceeds and it turns out that everyone is a winner, including the boy with a mouse on a hat and the girl with a fish in a bag! Both Archie and his cat come through in the end, and the viewers discover how Archie became twice a winner by sharing his glory with an elderly lady. "Smoothly adapted. An engaging animal cast of dogs, birds, cats, and a white mouse adds sparkle to this musically enhanced adaptation."— Booklist. "Those not acquainted with his works will surely be prompted to read his stories and enjoy his artwork. Highly recommended." — ABC-CLIO Video Rating Guide for Libraries. Based on the book by Ezra Jack Keats. An LCA release. CINE Golden Eagle National Educational Film & Video Festival 13 minutes | Color
