Story of the Bean Peru – Rutas del Inca Cooperative Our featured coffee comes from the Rutas del Inca Agrarian Cooperative, a Fair Trade Organic partner made up of more than 300 small coffee-producing families farming at elevations between 1,600–2,400 meters above sea level. This cooperative represents everything we value in a coffee relationship — transparency, sustainability, and shared long-term vision. Fair Trade certification helps ensure farmers receive equitable compensation and reinvest in their communities, while Organic practices protect the land, the farmers who cultivate it, and those of us who get to enjoy it every day in our cups. Encased by mountain peaks and cooled by steady high-altitude winds, this region produces dense, beautifully structured coffees.
