Personalized Name Plate Necklace

A classic name plate necklace in retro script, made in beautiful and trendy rose gold, sterling silver, of classic gold from our Name Necklace Collection. The name plate necklace skyrocketed in popularity after Sarah Jessica Parker wore hers as Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City... However, it's origins are actually that of Hispanic culture, dating back as far as the 1940's. It was seen as a right of passage, or a stepping stone into womanhood for the Latina community to get expensive gold plated jewelry personalized with their first name. It's a way to take ownership for who you are by proudly displaying your name for all to see. So, when you wear name plate jewelry in this style, the message is that you are more than who you appear to be at first glance. Your name makes you more than just another face in the crowd which is why these necklaces hold so much meaning.  Whether you're a Carrie, a Ximena, an Ana or a Carmen, we can make a beautiful personalized name plate necklace that will make you stand out and put a name to your face. --------------------NECKLACE DETAILS-------------------- Metal: Sterling Silver, Gold Or Rose Gold options Thickness: 20 gauge  Shown Width: 1.25" Shown Height: .25" Chain Length: 16", 18" or 20" Customization Upon ordering please write your customization details in the order notes.
