Personal Pitcher PRO Model  The PRO Model includes the ability to throw right and left handed curve balls or sliders in addition to fastballs. The PRO Model also comes equipped with the Pitch Isolation Training (PIT) system. PIT allows a batter to isolate a specific pitch (such as inside fastballs, outside curveballs or low sliders) by repeatedly throwing accurate pitches to the same spot. By focusing on one type of pitch, the batter can concentrate on the necessary mechanics to be successful with that particular pitch. Testimonials “My average has jumped from .250 to .450 and I hit for more power too.” — Steve Brutscher, 13, San Francisco, CA “Dear Sir...I love my Personal Pitcher. I went from the worst hitter on my Little League team in '95 to the best in '96.” — Rob Kerns, Oregon City, OR “My daughter and the entire girls fast-pitch team are enjoying the Personal Pitcher. A number of coaches have expressed interest, and I have lent it out on several occasions.” — Tom Gargiulo, Sterling, VA “The Personal Pitcher has been a significant factor in my son's success at the plate. Last season he had the highest batting average on his American Legion team (.479) and led in homeruns, doubles, and RBI's.” — Rod Rupert, Springfield, MO “I have owned the HS Personal Pitcher since '95. Still works well... it's logged in 100's of hours of use and still going strong. Thanks!!!” — Kirk Jensen, Nazareth, PA “I made the High School Team! Thank you Personal Pitcher.” — Adam Wood, York-New Salem, PA FAQ's How fast does it throw? The fastball mode is about 55 MPH, but the distance the batter stands from the machine determines the “effective” speed. From 20 feet the speed is equivalent to a 95+ mph pitch from 60 feet. From 25-30 feet the speed is equivalent to a high school coach throwing batting practice. The batter can move closer as his skills improve, or lower the speed if confined to a smaller area. How can Pitch Isolation Training help a batter? PIT allows a batter to isolate a specific pitch that is causing problems—no matter if it's a right hand or left hand curveball, or a high fastball. PIT can provide accurate repeat pitches in the zone until a batter can hit this pitch with Power and Confidence! How accurate is it? Indoors, every pitch is in the strike zone. Wind can affect the accuracy when being used outdoors. What does my warranty include? Warranty includes all parts and labor for 1 year. Most mechanical problems can be fixed over the phone, and the manufacturer will provide replacement parts at no charge. Or, you can return the unit and the manufacturer will repair it and return it to you. Is this machine advanced enough for a Varsity High School Player? Absolutely! Players at all levels, including Major Leaguers, use the Personal Pitcher to maintain their swing. Even Pro Player Chris Richard still uses it to keep his swing in the off season! How far do the balls travel after being hit? It depends on the level of the hitter. The best hitters will be able to hit it about 90-100ft. Most hitters will hit them 40-60 ft. What kind of balls do you use? How long will they last? Can I use the golf ball sized balls that I already have? We provide 24 or 48 balls with your purchase. They are the best quality and should last well over 1 year. Most golf ball sized poly balls will work (however some might not work). How do I recharge the battery? How long does it take to charge? Can I overcharge it? Simply plug the machine into the wall with the battery properly installed and it will recharge itself. It takes about 1 hour for each hour of use. After about 4-5hrs of charging the battery, unplug it from the wall. It should not lose capacity for many years. How heavy is the Personal Pitcher? A fully loaded box (w/ 4 dozen balls, tripod and battery) weighs approx. 9 lbs. Can I use my own tripod? Yes, the Personal Pitcher will mount on any standard tripod.
