This handcrafted Copper Basin is a remarkably durable and functional piece, ideal for both presentation and specialized cooking. It's large 11 quart capacity can be used for making jam, carnitas or polenta, or simply chilling beverages, bobbing for apples, and even bathing babies—the possibilities are as limitless as the imagination. Expertly crafted from a single, seamless piece of heavy-gauge copper, this basin offers heirloom-quality performance and timeless beauty. Made from 100% recycled pure copper.  Used in kitchens around the world for centuries, variations of this vessel have been a staple in Mexican culinary culture since the arrival of the Spanish. In fact, the earliest basins sold by the makers—over 20 years ago from the back of a truck—are still in use today.
