Coarse Perlite #4

Big, bold, and beautifully breathable. Our Perlite #4 is the chunkiest of the chunky—perfect for serious plant parents who want to take their soil game to the next level. Sifted to a coarse, airy #4 grade, this extra-large perlite improves aeration, enhances drainage, and prevents soil compaction like a champ. 🌿 Why you’ll love it: Chunky texture means superior airflow and water flow—roots can stretch and breathe without fear of rot. Increases drainage in even the heaviest potting mixes—say goodbye to soggy roots. Ideal for aroids, succulents, hoyas, orchids, and any plant that loves fast-draining, airy soil. Perfect for custom soil blends or adding to store-bought mixes that just don’t cut it. 🪴 Whether you're potting up a thirsty Monstera or protecting your favorite Philodendron from dreaded root rot, Perlite #4 is the ultimate additive. It’s lightweight, pH neutral, sterile, and won’t break down over time—making it a long-lasting staple in your soil supply. Pro Tip: Mix 20-40% Perlite #4 into your potting soil for maximum fluff and drainage. This will be enough to fill four 4 inch pots. Plenty to make your plants happy & soil light & airy!
