Periwinkle Engagement Ring with Tanzanite & Diamonds

This beautiful ring is set with a natural Tanzanite in the iconic periwinkle color, a true blend of blue and violet. In the market, deep blue Tanzanite sells for the most money; yet many people prefer these that are just a shade or two lighter. While not quite as saturated, Tanzanite in this lighter shade tends to be much more brilliant. As a bonus, this gem perfectly displays the Tanzanite pleochroism- it appears more blue or more violet as the gem moves- it is quite stunning. We set this gem into a substantial low-profile white gold ring mounting, channel set with princess cut Diamond accents. This ring could easily be worn as a December birthstone ring, or as a Tanzanite engagement ring. Details: custom 14k white gold ring set with a 2.10ct cushion cut Tanzanite (assumed heated) and .60ctw princess cut Diamond accents (natural, SI GH).
