Dr. Lara Devgan Polypeptide Eye Cream

Product Overview Dr. Lara Devgan Polypeptide Eye Cream is a targeted treatment for the delicate skin around the eyes. The formula combines bioactive peptides, niacin, retinol, and nourishing fatty acids to help improve the appearance of fine lines, puffiness, dark circles, uneven texture, and reduced firmness. Tripeptide-1 and Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7 support a smoother, firmer-looking eye area, while niacin helps brighten the appearance of discoloration. Retinol supports a smoother-looking surface, and hexadecanoic and octadecanoic acids replenish lipids to support moisture retention and barrier comfort. The cream is designed for consistent morning and evening use and provides targeted hydration without replacing a facial moisturizer. Its focused combination of peptides and retinol distinguishes it from a basic eye moisturizer by addressing several visible concerns in one step. Recommended For Visible fine lines and crow’s-feet around the eyes. Puffiness and a tired-looking under-eye area. Dark circles and uneven-looking tone. Dryness, rough texture, and reduced-looking firmness. All skin types seeking a targeted morning and evening eye treatment. Because the formula contains retinol, those who are sensitive to vitamin A derivatives should introduce it gradually and speak with a qualified skincare professional when needed. Avoid direct contact with the eyes. Texture and Experience The rich yet targeted cream cushions the delicate eye area and is designed to absorb with gentle patting. For a cooling sensation, the brand suggests storing it in the refrigerator before application. If you are new to vitamin A, start with evening use a few times a week on clean, dry skin and build up only while the area stays comfortable. Temporary dryness or light flaking can occur while skin adjusts; if that happens, reduce the frequency for a while. Use a small amount, pat it along the orbital bone with your ring finger, and keep it out of the eyes themselves. Avoid applying it on the same evening as several exfoliating products, and wear a broad-spectrum sunscreen every morning, reapplying during the day. Not recommended for: Application on the eyelid margin, the lash line, or inside the eye. Skin that is broken, sunburned or freshly irritated, or an area still settling after an in-studio service. The same evening as several exfoliating products, or another vitamin A product on the same area. Anyone with a known sensitivity to vitamin A derivatives or to an ingredient listed on the packaging. Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding — the formula contains retinol, so discuss the ingredient list with your own specialist before starting. Frequently Asked Questions Can I really use it morning and evening? It is designed for consistent morning and evening use. If vitamin A is new to you, start in the evening only, a few times a week, and add the morning application once the area feels comfortable. When you use it in the morning, follow with sunscreen. How much should I use, and how do I apply it? A small amount is enough. Pat it gently along the orbital bone with your ring finger, working from the outer corner inward, and let it absorb before makeup or other products. Avoid rubbing or dragging the skin. Can I use it with the retinal or retinol serums? Yes, as long as they stay in their own zones. The Retinal Bakuchiol Serum 5x and the Retinol + Bakuchiol Serum 2.5x are meant for the face and should be kept away from the eye area; this cream is the vitamin A step for the eyes. Do not layer a facial serum and this cream on the same skin. Does it replace my moisturizer? No. It provides targeted hydration for the eye area, and you still apply your facial moisturizer afterward, followed by sunscreen in the morning. Why would I keep it in the refrigerator? The brand suggests refrigerating it for a cooling sensation on application, which some people find pleasant on a tired-looking under-eye area. It is optional, not required. Pairs Well With Advanced Recovery Cream: the facial moisturizer that follows this targeted eye step. Hyaluronic Serum: a hydrating serum layer before moisturizer, morning or evening. SPF 44 BB Cream: broad-spectrum daytime protection over your morning routine. Retinal Bakuchiol Serum 5x: the evening resurfacing serum for the face, kept clear of the eye area.
