Peperomia polybotrya

Peperomia polybotrya - the Raindrop Peperomia. This charming evergreen perennial features fleshy, bright green leaves that are perfectly shaped like teardrops or raindrops—hence its common name. The leaves are peltate, meaning the leaf stem attaches to the underside of the leaf instead of the edge, creating a unique, slightly dimpled surface. The plant has a compact, bushy, and erect growth habit, typically reaching about 1 foot tall and wide. In the summer, it may produce slender, greenish-white, spike-like flowers. It is often confused with the Chinese Money Plant (Pilea peperomioides), but its leaves are pointed and more tear-shaped, unlike the round leaves of its lookalike.
