Peperomia 'Hope'

Peperomia ‘Hope’ is a charming trailing houseplant with thick, coin-shaped leaves arranged in small clusters along slender stems. Its soft green foliage has a succulent texture, giving each cascading strand a playful, button-like appearance. As it grows, the stems spill over the edges of pots, making it a beautiful choice for hanging baskets, shelves, and small spaces. The fleshy leaves store moisture, helping the plant tolerate some drying between waterings. Compact and easy to enjoy, ‘Hope’ brings a fresh touch of greenery without demanding much room. ☀️ Light Provide bright, indirect light for full growth and closely spaced leaves. Gentle morning sun is usually fine, but protect it from strong afternoon sunlight. 💧 Water Allow the upper portion of the soil to dry between waterings, then water thoroughly and let excess drain away. Avoid keeping the soil constantly wet, and water less frequently during cooler months. 🌱 Soil Use a light, airy potting mix with excellent drainage. Potting soil amended with perlite and fine orchid bark works well, paired with a pot that has drainage holes. 🌡️ Temperature Prefers temperatures between 65°F and 80°F. Protect from frost, cold drafts, and prolonged temperatures below 50°F. 💨 Humidity Average household humidity is usually sufficient. Moderate humidity supports healthy growth, especially when paired with good airflow. 🪴 Fertilizer Feed monthly during spring and summer with a balanced liquid houseplant fertilizer diluted to half strength. Reduce or pause feeding when growth slows. ⚠️ Toxicity Nontoxic
