Peony Root-Kansas

Big double fuchsia blooms on sturdy stems, Kansas always catches everyone's eye in our fields.  Peonies are perennials, and will need a space about 3' x 3'. They will usually begin blooming by the third year after planting. The roots we sell here have 3-5 eyes and are the same size and quality that I plant on my peony farm. For planting information, please see Clemson University's Peony fact sheet or my own Peony Grower's Library Please read all the information below before ordering. Ordering will indicate that you understand and agree with this information. This listing is for one peony bare root. It is not potted and is not a growing plant. Planting dormant roots in the fall allows the peony plant to grow lots of feeder roots over the cool months to feed lush top growth in the spring.  Please select shipping or pickup at checkout. Pickup at the farm is on the date indicated on the Peony Root page. Shipped orders will arrive in October and November. These dates are subject to change due to supplier timelines. Please leave your email address at checkout and monitor it for updates. I cannot 100% guarantee variety. Suppliers are not completely scrupulous about sending the correct variety and I've had some surprises. They are always peonies, and they've always been pleasant surprises, but not always what I ordered. Please know this is a possibility before ordering. Refunds will only be made if it can be determined there's been a mistake on the part of The Peony Fields.
