Pentel Orenz Nero

Pentel Orenz Nero – The Pinnacle of Mechanical Pencil Innovation The evolution of the mechanical pencil has always been driven by the pursuit of perfection in its core: the refill. In 1960, Pentel revolutionized writing with the world’s first thin, break-resistant resin lead, paving the way for the first knock-type mechanical pencil. Today, that legacy reaches its peak with the Pentel Orenz Nero—the ultimate mechanical pencil that brings us closer than ever to the ideal of continuous writing without lead breakage. At the heart of the Orenz Nero is the Orenz Nero System, engineered to protect even the most delicate 0.2mm lead from breaking. This cutting-edge technology is paired with a fully automatic lead advancement mechanism, which advances the lead every time the pen tip lifts from the paper—eliminating the need for repeated clicks. One knock is all it takes to write uninterrupted until the lead runs out. Designed to be as durable as it is refined, the Orenz Nero features a matte black finish—a nod to Pentel’s iconic Graph 1000 and Smash models—and gets its name from “Nero,” the Italian word for black. Its 12-sided barrel, reminiscent of a precisely carved block of metal, is crafted from a unique blend of resin and metal, creating a strong, tactile writing instrument. Engineered for comfort, the pencil’s low center of gravity ensures optimal control and an effortlessly smooth writing experience. The sliding pipe mechanism supports and protects the lead as you write, allowing for consistent precision—even with ultra-fine tips. This is not just a pencil. It’s Pentel’s finest expression of half a century of innovation—a tool for those who demand strength, elegance, and flawless performance in every stroke. Experience the Orenz Nero.
