PENTAX 17 Half Frame Camera (Dark Silver)

Pentax 17 Half-Frame 35mm Film Camera The Pentax 17 offers a unique half-frame 35mm format, featuring a compact 17 x 24mm recording area that sets it apart from traditional full-frame cameras. This distinctive format provides several advantages: With frames occupying half the space on the film roll, you can capture twice as many exposures compared to full-frame cameras. A 36-exposure roll yields approximately 72 exposures. The horizontal film movement results in a vertically oriented image area. The viewfinder is optimized for vertical shooting, enhancing handling and ease of use. Ease of Use and Features The Pentax 17 is designed for simplicity, functioning as a true point-and-shoot camera with an accurate autoexposure system. Key features include: Manual ISO/ASA settings ranging from 50 to 3200 and exposure compensation up to +/- 2 EV. Mode dial offering options for flash on/off, Auto mode for flash based on lighting conditions, Program auto with flash, slow-sync with flash, and additional settings such as bulb and slow shutter speeds.
