Pentair IntellipH Controller ONLY | 522711

Product Overview The Pentair IntelliPH Controller Unit 522711 is a genuine OEM replacement controller for the Pentair IntelliPH automatic acid-dispensing system. It replaces a damaged, malfunctioning, or weather-worn controller while allowing the existing chemical container, metering pump, tubing, and injection components to remain in service when they are still operational. The IntelliPH system helps manage swimming-pool pH by controlling the amount of muriatic acid dispensed into the circulation system. Maintaining a more consistent pH level can improve chlorine effectiveness, reduce frequent manual acid additions, and help protect pool surfaces and equipment from conditions associated with excessive pH fluctuations. This listing is for the controller unit only. It is not a complete IntelliPH system and does not include the four-gallon chemical container, tank-mounted metering pump, acid tubing, injection check valve, saddle clamp, or installation accessories. Pentair identifies part number 522711 specifically as the IntelliPH replacement controller unit. Key Features Genuine Pentair OEM replacement component Replacement controller for the IntelliPH system Adjustable acid-dispensing output Easy-to-read control interface Designed for compatible IntelliChlor systems Helps reduce manual pH adjustments Restores control of the existing acid-dispensing system Suitable for residential swimming-pool applications Controller unit only Chemical tank and metering pump not included Benefits Replacing only the controller can restore operation without requiring the purchase of a complete IntelliPH system. This is useful when the existing acid container, pump, tubing, and injection fittings are still in acceptable working condition. The controller allows the acid-dispensing percentage to be adjusted according to the pool’s operating conditions. When properly installed and programmed, the IntelliPH system delivers controlled doses of acid while the pool pump is operating. The IntelliPH system is designed to work with compatible Pentair IntelliChlor salt chlorine generators. It receives power through an IntelliChlor Power Center or a compatible Pentair automation system with built-in IntelliChlor support. IntelliPH cannot be used as an independent, standalone acid controller. The replacement unit must be connected according to the Pentair IntelliPH installation instructions and applicable electrical codes. Inspect the existing metering pump, chemical tubing, injection check valve, wiring, and container before installation. A defective pump, restricted tube, clogged injection valve, or damaged communication connection may create symptoms similar to a failed controller. Installation and diagnosis should be completed by a qualified pool professional familiar with automated chemical-feed systems. Always follow proper acid-handling procedures and wear appropriate protective equipment.
