Penne Pasta Rice Lentil – Gluten Free

Rice and Lentil Penne Rigate – Gluten Free Gluten-free penne pasta made from rice and lentils represents a culinary innovation that marries health with flavor, offering a delightful alternative to traditional wheat-based pastas. This unique blend combines the mild, slightly nutty taste of rice flour with the earthy, rich flavors of lentils, resulting in a pasta that is not only nutritious but also delicious. The manufacturing process involves carefully milling and blending these gluten-free grains and legumes to create a dough that is then extruded into the classic tube shape of penne. This process ensures that the pasta retains the firmness and texture needed to stand up to cooking, making it an ideal base for a variety of sauces and ingredients. Bionaturae is a family owned Italian company that’s been making organic foods since the late 90s, and was one of the first Italian organic food brands to become popular in the states. Creative culinary applications for rice and lentil penne pasta are vast and varied. It serves as an excellent base for Mediterranean-inspired dishes, tossed with olive oil, sun-dried tomatoes, olives, and feta cheese for a quick and flavorful meal. It can also stand up to robust sauces, such as a hearty lentil Bolognese, where its flavors complement the sauce without getting lost. For a refreshing summer pasta salad, mix it with fresh vegetables, a zesty vinaigrette, and herbs. Its versatility extends to baked dishes as well, where it can be used in gluten-free pasta bakes, layered with cheese, vegetables, and a protein of choice for a comforting, nutritious meal. This gluten-free penne pasta made from rice and lentils not only caters to those with dietary restrictions but also offers a delightful taste experience for anyone looking to diversify their pasta repertoire.
