Inspired by Viking longships' prows, this dragon head penannular brooch is one of our most popular pieces. Cast in bronze with a bronze pin, this brooch is also available with a silver-plated or blackened silver-plated finish. Penannular brooches were especially popular with the Celtic peoples of the British Isles during the late Roman period and were also worn by the Vikings in the Early Medieval period.
