Peninsula Leather Side Table

Details & Dimensions Two-Tier Side Table in Black Leather, Brass Joints & Glass Some pieces are designed to hold things. The Peninsula is designed to be noticed first. Four tapered legs in matte black — wrapped in smooth leather and tipped with polished brass sabots — rise to a glass-topped frame whose brass corner joints are the kind of detail that stops a room. The top surface is clear glass, light and open, while a lower black leather-paneled shelf provides a contained second tier for books, a tray, or a small ceramic. The overall silhouette borrows from mid-century Parisian furniture design — the atelier workshops of the 6th arrondissement that understood a side table as an object of craft, not convenience — and reinterprets it with a restraint that makes it as relevant now as it would have been then. The black and brass palette is precise and deliberate, sitting at the intersection of masculine weight and jewel-like finish. Position beside a sofa or reading chair as a drinks table — set a single coupe, a candle, and nothing else on the glass surface for a composition that does not need editing.
