It's perfect for both indoor and outdoor setups and is designed to perform even in full sun or less than ideal conditions. Cost to Run: Operating at an estimated monthly cost of $18-$28 based on $0.12/KWh, this chiller is an economical choice. The system's intelligent design allows the compressor and fan to turn off when not needed, minimizing energy usage while keeping water consistently cold. Continuous Cold Water Benefits: Maintaining constant cold water temperatures helps control bacteria growth, reducing maintenance and the frequency of water changes. It also allows for lower levels of sanitizers to be effective, ensuring a cleaner, healthier cold plunge experience. Setup and Use: For optimal performance, place the chiller close to the tub, ensuring it is at the same or lower height relative to the tub’s bottom. The design requires gravity priming to the pump; thus, the pump cannot self-prime or suction. A concise tubing run from the tub drain to the chiller inlet is recommended to avoid any pump issues. Maximizing Your Investment: To fully leverage your chiller, it's best to keep the water cold at all times. This approach minimizes maintenance, extends the time between water changes, and avoids unnecessary wear on the pump. The minor potential savings from using a timer do not outweigh the benefits of continuous operation. Enhance your cold therapy practice with the Penguin Cold Therapy Chiller, combining cutting-edge technology, efficiency, and ease of use to deliver an unparalleled cold plunge experience.
