It is made up of iron atoms arranged hexagonally with six oxygen atoms.  Chakras: Root Balance: Hematite is said to temper the spirit, be soothing, and can be balancing to the body and the chakras. Grounding: Hematite is said to be a strong connection to the earth which makes it perfect to be used for grounding or for those in need of stability. Shielding: Hematite is said to help cut off your energy from other people's when needed and is recommended for busy situations, or crowded places. Focus: Hematite is said to enhance mental awareness and concentration and is used often to connect to logic. Instructions: Pendulum dowsing typically uses directions—clockwise or counterclockwise circles, or back-and-forth/side-to-side swings—to answer "yes," "no," or "maybe". It is really a personal choice as to what is "your" yes or "your" no. One option is to hold the pendulum still in your dominant hand with a relaxed, steady posture. Then, "program" it by asking it to clearly show you its specific signals for "yes" and "no". Or say show me my "yes" then, show me my"no".
