A Pelikan calligraphy nib is designed to produce decorative, expressive line variation rather than just smooth everyday writing. It’s essentially a broad italic nib meant for lettering styles, headings, and artistic scripts. It has a flat, straight edge rather than the rounded tip of a standard nib. NEW OLD STOCK PELIKAN SCREW IN NIB/FEED/COLLAR UNITS THAT FIT THE MC 110, MC 120, AND MOST OF THE 150 TO 700 SERIES PENS. (Note the silver colored band between the nib and the threads; if your nib has this band, these should fit as replacements)
